About the Best New Product Awards

The Best New Product Awards is an annual awards program focusing on everyday consumer packaged goods products (food, health and beauty, and household). Winners are selected based on voting by real consumers who participate in an annual independent survey. Over 36,000 Canadian consumers participate in the study from across the country, making it one of the largest consumer surveys about new product development and innovation in Canada.
In addition to voting for the winners, consumers are asked to provide their feedback on a wide array of questions regarding their media habits, purchasing behaviours, interests, attitudes and much more. The study, which is provided to participating companies, helps provide marketers with valuable consumer insights in the area of new products and innovation.
The program has quickly become the consumer’s choice seal of approval giving consumers the confidence they need when confronted with “moment of truth” purchase decisions.
